Dyno Testing Checklist
Vehicle Inspection:
Check for fluid leaks (oil, coolant, fuel).
Ensure proper tire inflation.
Confirm the driveline is in good condition (no loose components).
Fluids and Levels:
Fuel tank filled to at least 1/4.
Correct oil level and recent oil change (if needed).
Coolant and radiator in good working order.
Transmission fluid at appropriate levels.
Battery and Electricals:
Battery charged and secure.
No electrical issues (e.g., faulty sensors or warning lights on the dashboard).
Secure Components:
Ensure engine mounts, exhaust systems, and other key parts are securely fastened.
Check for loose belts, hoses, or wiring that could fail under stress.
Fuel System Check:
Verify there are no leaks in fuel lines or tank.
Avoid using fuel additives that may produce excessive fumes during testing.
Braking System:
Ensure brakes are in good condition (e.g., no worn pads or leaking brake lines).
Emergency brake should be functional.
Dyno Disclaimer, Release, and Waiver
We want everyone to be ready come time to tune. If we encounter issues while your car is strapped to the dyno, you will be charged the shop labor rate in addition to your dyno time as we resolve the issue.
Testing and tuning on the Dyno will push your vehicle to its mechanical limits. It is your responsibility to ensure that your car is in proper working order and capable of handling the stresses incurred when your car’s limits are reached. Non-Fixtion Performance is in no way responsible for any damage to your vehicle incurred before, during or after your vehicle is operated on the Dyno. Any damage caused to the vehicle's transmission, transfer assembly, engine, clutch, brakes, ect. is the responsibility of the vehicle owner. Circumstances can arise on the Dyno that are beyond the control of the tuner and Non-Fixtion Performance, and engine failure is a distinct possibility. Non-Fixtion Performance takes no responsibility if an engine failure occurs.
I acknowledge that I am aware of the potential risks involved with Dyno Testing/Tuning, and have completed the attached checklist to assure my vehicle is in proper working condition. I waive any and all claims against Non-Fixtion Performance for any damage to my vehicle as a result thereof.
